Day of the Figurines: Supporting Episodic Storytelling on Mobile Phonesto manage reengagement with the game and sustain social relationships. Our experience has led us to propose a framework for how to design time in shared interactive narratives in which five distinct layers of time – story time, plot time, schedule time, interaction time and perceived time – are mapped onto one another.

Our aim is to carry out some experiences and transfer the results in design of a Storytelling Collaborative Virtual Environment (SCVE) without intrusive devices. Being There: Participants and Spectators in Interactive Narrativets show that spectators and participants mark different stories as the most interesting, showing that this role difference does indeed impact their assessment of a narrative experience. The implications for story evaluation are discussed.
