Solving Trajectory Optimization Problems by Influence Diagramsustrate our approach on two well-known trajectory optimization problems – the Brachistochrone Problem and the Goddard Problem. We present results of numerical experiments on these two problems, compare influence diagrams with optimal control methods, and discuss the benefits of influence diagrams.

Evaluation of Arguments in Weighted Bipolar GraphsWe introduce axioms that an evaluation method (or semantics) could satisfy. Such axioms are very useful for judging and comparing semantics. We then analyze existing semantics on the basis of our axioms, and finally propose a new semantics for the class of acyclic graphs.
