On Adaptive Gauss-Hermite Quadrature for Estimation in GLMM’sadaptive Gauss-Hermite quadrature. Using this new upper bound, we show that the feature of this problem that makes importance sampling fail is useful in disclosing why adaptive Gauss-Hermite quadrature succeeds.
