FcεRI Signaling in Specialized Membrane Domainsis initial phosphorylation step, referred to here as ., is mediated by the protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) Lyn, and it is regulated by unidentified tyrosine phosphatases. The phosphorylated ITAMs recruit SH-2 domain-containing signaling proteins, including Syk, a ZAP-70-related PTK that binds the phosphorylated receptor γ-chains.
