We will describe three of these methods and there application to DNA research: flow analysis of individual molecules, measuring mechanical forces of bio-molecules using optical tweezers and using an AFM to study the dynamics of DNA and DNA protein interactions.

Covalent Coupling of Polyamines to Aminobead-Covered ISFETs,with a .of latex beads followed by the .coupling of (poly)amines to these beads. The resulting ISFET devices could be used for detection of heparin in the concentration range of 0.025–0.75 U/ml. Considerable differences were found concerning the sensitivity of heparin detection when employing different types of polyamine ligands.
