Re-imagining Self-Management,e can manage their condition alone, and nor should they be expected to do so. Indeed, when self-management was first presented, it was called supported self-management. I then present a series of suggestions exploring how ‘self-management’ could be ‘done’ differently within the current limitations of our NHS resources.
