Hierarchical Simulation of Substrate Coupling in BiCMOS Structures Using the Boundary Element Methoe boundary element method and contains a Poisson solver based on a hierarchical .(.) conjugate gradient algorithm. Sophisticated preconditioners are applied, which further increase the computation speed by a factor of about 10. The approach is verified by experimental results in a 0.25 . BiCMOS technology.
