Run: Create Campaign Plans,You’ve filed paperwork to run for office. You’ve officially begun your campaign. Now it is time to outline your campaign plan. What will you do each day? How will you interact with the media? How much money do you need to raise? These are some of the questions you’ll tackle while creating your campaign plan.

Lose,Congratulations may still be in order. Mostly, though, it feels rotten to lose. All of your hard work didn’t earn the votes you needed to win. You, your family, and your volunteers are tired and let down. (If the real reason you ran was to make a point, not to win, then you finished the race where you predicted you would.)

Run: Raise Money,e millions and sometimes billions of dollars to run and win. Think of running a campaign as starting a business. You have a plan and you have a message about the “product,” which is you. You need money to work your plan to get voters to learn about you, and to cast their ballots for you so that you can win and do the job.
