Surface Electrochemistry of Amino Acids: Voltammetry Assisted by Eels, Auger Spectroscopy and Leed,sorbate molecular structure, adsorbate concentration, electrode potential, nature of the electrolyte anion, temperature, solvent and structure of the Pt surface. Supramolecular Effects in the Redox and Coordination Chemistry of Superstructured Iron Porphyrins,the reaction. Such organized structures are correlatively expected to function with minimal entropy losses. The concept of supramolecular chemistry, and electrochemistry, derives from attempts to imitate, even remotely, these structures and their functions.

The Electrochemical Characterization of the Oxene Adducts of PFe(ClO4), PFeII, and PFeII(SR) [P = Tthree unpaired electrons (S = 3/2). A recent EXAFS study. summarizes the physical data in support of formulations of [(Por.·)Fe.(O.)]. for Compound I, and [(Por.)Fe.(O.)] for Compound II; and concludes that both species contain an oxo-ferryl group (Fe = O) with a bond length of 1.64 Å.

In addition, metal-carbon σ-bonded porphyrins can act as precursors in the synthesis of metal-metal bonded derivatives.
