Visual Tracking Using Harmony Search,r with other popular methods used in visual tracking including the particle filter and the Kalman Filter. We show that the Harmony filter performs better in both speed and accuracy than similar systems based on the particle filter and the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF).

Population Variance Harmony Search Algorithm to Solve Optimal Power Flow with Non-Smooth Cost Functrithm (PVHS) easily takes care of solving optimal power flow problem even with non-smooth and piecewise cost functions. This PVHS algorithm was tested on the IEEE30 bus system with three different types of cost characteristics and compared with other reported results.

The Application of Harmony Search in Fourth-Party Logistics Routing Problems,even nodes, fifteen nodes, and thirty nodes problems. According to the character of 4PLRPTW, we also design the repair strategy. The performance of the HS is compared with the designed enumeration algorithm in this chapter. The results of the numerical experiments show that the HS is effective in terms of solution quality and computational time.

Harmony Search Optimization Algorithm: Application to a Reconfigurable Mobile Robot Prototype, proposed to the design of a reconfigurable mobile robot with respect to the terramechanics, and the optimal configuration prototype is then obtained. The actual condition shows that in the process of mobile robot design and manufacture, the HSMOO is effective to the issue of the mobile robot reconfiguration.

Optimal Trajectory of Robot Manipulator Using Harmony Search Algorithms,e hybrid HS and SQP method, Hybrid Harmony Search Algorithm (HHSA) is effective and acceptable for solving the optimal trajectory problem without its initial value finding process.
