书目名称 | Phytoplankton in Turbid Environments: Rivers and Shallow Lakes | 编辑 | Jean-Pierre Descy,Colin S. These proceedings produce a synthesis of thecomposition, community structure and dynamics of lotic phytoplankton, which are intuitively submitted to a strong physical control in theflowing environment, perceived as much more `disturbed‘ than a lake, even than a well-mixed shallow one. It turns out that the boundarybetween the phytoplankton of rivers and lakes is not as clear-cut aswas thought. In particular, most contributions provide argumentsemphasizing the prominent role of physical control in both aquaticsystems, especially due to the steep light gradient resulting fromturbulent mixing in a turbid water column. Similarities anddifferences between potamoplankton and limnoplankton, largely based onthe information gathered by the contributors are discussed in theintroductory paper by Reynolds .et al.. . | 出版日期 | Book 1994 | 关键词 | Chrysophytes; Danube; downstream rivers; ecology; environment; hypertrophic reservoir; meroplankton; phytop | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-94-017-2670-2 | isbn_softcover | 978-90-481-4464-8 | isbn_ebook | 978-94-017-2670-2 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 1994 |
