Central Projections to the Nucleus Ambiguusr nucleus, paratrigeminal nucleus, area postrema, and vestibular nucleus of the CT and TA/LCA groups. In addition, labeled neurons were detected in the cochlear nucleus of the TA/LCA group. We have therefore provided novel evidence for communication between the cochlear nucleus and the NA.

Muscle Spindles and Intramuscular Ganglianly static information on muscle length and tension but also dynamic information such as contraction speed. In the intrinsic laryngeal muscles, small ganglia of neuronal cell bodies situated within the muscles have been studied and may be part of the sensory innervation of the larynx.

Motor Nerve Endingse motor endplates are not necessarily located in the center of each muscle, and various distribution patterns are observed. We revealed the presence of either NADPHd-positive or CGRP-positive motor nerve endings in the thyroarytenoid muscle. We believe that NO and CGRP participate in the complex motor control of the larynx.

Recurrent Laryngeal Nerveated that the inferior laryngeal nerve, which is the terminal branch of the recurrent laryngeal nerve in the dog, has acetylcholine-, NA-, calcitonin gene-related peptide-, SP-, neuropeptide Y-, and nitric oxide-ergic nerve fibers.

Nucleus Ambiguusted gold (CTBG) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP). There was a difference in the positive expression rate for CGRP between motoneurons projecting to different intrinsic laryngeal muscles. These findings suggest that the innervation and/or the neurotrophic mechanism involving CGRP for each intrinsic laryngeal muscle is different.
