A Coaxial Laser Endoscope with Arbitrary Spots in Endoscopic View for Fetal Surgery. The positioning accuracy was mostly within 1.0 mm in the endoscopic view at the distance. The average laser power density on the spot was estimated to be 170–370 W/cm., and a chicken liver was successfully coagulated by changing the laser beam irradiation angle.

Toward Video-Based Navigation for Endoscopic Endonasal Skull Base Surgeryatures and maintains the 2D-3D correspondence of image features and 3D locations. These data are then used to update the current camera pose. We present registration results within 1mm, which matches the accuracy of our validation framework.

Correcting Motion Artifacts in Retinal Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography via Image Registmooth deformations resulting from ocular tremor and drift as well as the abrupt discontinuities in vessels resulting from microsaccades. We test our performance on 48 scans of healthy eyes and 116 scans of glaucomatous eyes, improving scan quality in 96% of healthy and 73% of glaucomatous eyes.

Estimating Continuous 4D Wall Motion of Cerebral Aneurysms from 3D Rotational Angiography has been obtained in recovering sub-voxel pulsation, even from images with substantial intensity inhomogeneity. Results also demonstrate that the acceleration strategies can reduce memory consumption and computational time without degrading the performance.
