On the Problem of Diffusion in Materials Under Vibrations,. Within a two-component continuum model, we derived the generalized diffusion equation. As an application, the phenomenon of impurity localization is considered in a rod under vibrations. The obtained numerical and analytical results are compared with experiments on the investigation of impurity redistribution during the deformation of samples.
