Inhibition of Kaolinite Dissolution in Bayer Liquor Through Lithium Additiongestion process to be contemplated whereby gibbsite is selectively dissolved in the presence of kaolinite, potentially leading to significant savings in sodium hydroxide as well as a low-alkaline bauxite residue. Economic trade-offs between lithium addition rates and sodium hydroxide savings are discussed.

Application of Advanced Oxidative Process for Organic Compounds Removal from Bayer Liquor of this work was to remove the organic compounds present in Bayer liquor through the injection of O. and O./H.O. in a batch reactor. The effect of reagents’ concentration and temperature was evaluated. Results showed that increasing temperature raises the organic degradation in higher concentrations.
