Negotiating Space, Time, and Identity: The Hutton-Pellett Letters and a British Child’s Wartime Evacat aspect of them that this paper is primarily concerned. In the Second World War these letters negotiated space, time, and identity for the Hutton and Pellett families and they continue to do so now for a broader audience in ever more complex ways.
