Direct Discrete-Time Design for Sampled-Data Hamiltonian Control Systems,erical algorithms, such as Runge-Kutta and multistep methods. Yet, to the best of the authors knowledge, almost all available results on this direction view the systems as . systems, whereas for design purpose, there are many systems that are better modeled as Hamiltonian . systems.

An Algorithm to Discretize One-Dimensional Distributed Port Hamiltonian Systems,control applications, where the forcing action on the system generates time-varying boundary conditions. Therefore, numerical solvers play a key role as support tools for the analysis of this kind of systems.
