Apo B Gene Variants are Involved in Determining Serum Cholesterol Levels: Towards Identifying these have shown that increased apo B levels correlate with increased risk of coronary heart disease .. Thus variation in the apo B gene could be involved in determining cholesterol levels and hence atherosclerosis risk.
