https://doi.org/10.1007/978-94-6209-662-2has been observed that the village location has been completely altered from being on the right side of the river to being on the left because of the westward movement of the river by 7.1 km from 1943–45 to 1987. The migration of the river created an oxbow lake and its extent shrunken from 1.42 km.
