Kathryn J. Strom,John Lupinacciand HLB (hydrophilic-lipophilic balance) on the other, and presented the results based on the concepts of effective chain length and hydrophobicity. The effects of structural modifications, and the correlation of HLB values derived from partition studies with the properties of the surfactant molecule, are examined in this paper.

Studies on interaction of cationic surfactants with cholesterol coated oil droplets dispersed in waation of bilayers from cholesterol dissolved in hydrocarbon in contact with an aqueous solution of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). . and .
