Quantification of Slow Mechanical Displacements in Metal Samples by Optical Polarization Phase Shif of phase shift positions induced by a polarizer and as a result a reliable measurement of displacements was obtained. Although conventional piezoelectric phase shifting methods are well established, the optical polarization method still preserves advantages as less complex instrumentation and low cost implementation.

Phase Shifting Interferometry Using a Coupled Cyclic Path Interferometers,e, since is only necessary perform a shift operating a linear polarizer. The optical phase was processed by a four-step algorithm. In order to present the capabilities of the system, results obtained for slope for transparent structures are presented.

Noise Reduction in Off-Axis Digital Holography Reconstruction from Two Reconstruction Distances Basdistance is determined by the periodic ringing. Reductions of 50 % of these anomalies are computed in simulation and 30 % is obtained experimentally. Numerical simulations and experimental results are carried out to validate the proposal.
