Biostatisticsat does not necessarily mean it is a purely random process. Unknown and verified correlations indirectly prove that supposedly random processes obey specific laws. In signal processing, for example, it is generally accepted that thermal noise is a random process that is also white and normally distributed in an almost ideal way.
