An Economic Model of FDA’s Imported Foods Enforcement Programt quality. FDA’s food safety and quality enforcement program is designed to prevent domestic and imported food products that violate the FD&C Act in these ways from reaching the consumer. This program minimizes the negative health and welfare effects of violative foods.
