Suppression of gene function 1,From its inception, economics has been considered a science. For almost as long it has been under siege for clinging to what Arnold M. Rose once called “a prescientific psychology and sociology under which it happened to grow up” (1954, p. 209). The major critique is that economists fail to consider the context in which people live their lives.

A Hermeneutic Approach to Economics: If Economics is Not Science, and if it is not Merely MathematiFrom its inception, economics has been considered a science.
