The Business School in Ruins: Navigating the Multi-stakeholder Landscape of Contemporary Management situation to focus our debating position; and explore the legitimacy dimension of stakeholder theory. We conclude with the view that business schools can no longer satisfy the often-competing demands of stakeholders, and—that to add value—they must embrace an impact agenda, supported by much closer, reciprocal relationships with practitioners.
