#Nowplaying on #Spotify: Leveraging Spotify Information on Twitter for Artist Recommendationsem to adopt its input parameters to the extended dataset. In the evaluation part of this work, we benchmark the presented recommender system against two baseline approaches. We show that the performance of our proposed recommender is promising and clearly outperforms the baseline.

Retrieving Relevant and Interesting Tweets During Live Television Broadcastsngness in a post-experiment questionnaire. From the experimental results we conclude that our event profiler is capable to find relevant keywords which leads to retrieval of a higher number of relevant and, on average, more interesting tweets than using only a manually selected keyword.

Topic Detection in Twitter Using Topology Data Analysisments. This topological space is organised in a network according to the connectivity of the points, i.e. the documents, and by only filtering based on the size of the connected components we obtain competitive results compared to other state of the art topic detection methods.

In this work, a novel approach is proposed and evaluated for automatically extracting candidates’ personality traits based on their social media use.

Geburt, Tod und Wanderbewegungen text into the RLE-based method as a new text attribute to cope with small ASCII arts. Our experimental results show that the new attribute improves the .-measure but it adds language-dependency into the RLE-based method though it is desirable that ASCII art extraction methods are language-independent.
