Gabriela Valdivia,Marcela Benavides grasp-specific fashion, and in particular can either facilitate or suppress M1 outputs controlling intrinsic hand muscles. The mechanisms subserving the interactions between PMv and M1, which are reciprocal, could allow for fast selection of M1 outputs that would be appropriate for the grasp of visible objects.
