描述Spatial inhomogeneity of heating of fluids in the gravity fieldis the cause of all motions in nature: in the atmosphere and theoceans on Earth, in astrophysical and planetary objects. All naturalobjects rotate and convective motions in rotating fluids are ofinterest in many geophysical and astrophysical phenomena. In manyindustrial applications, too (crystal growth, semiconductormanufacturing), heating and rotation are the main mechanisms definingthe structure and quality of the material. . Depending on thegeometry of the systems and the mutual orientation of temperature andgravity field, a variety of phenomena will arise in rotating fluids, such as regular and oscillating waves, intensive solitary vortices andregular vortex grids, interacting vortices and turbulent mixing. Inthis book the authors elucidate the physical essence of thesephenomena, determining and classifying flow regimes in the space ofsimilarity numbers. The theoretical and computational results arepresented only when the results help to explain basic qualitativemotion characteristics. . The book will be of interest toresearchers and graduate students in fluid mechanics, meteorology, oceanography and astrophysics, cr

Vocational and Adult Education in Europere possible here: first, modification of the problem of a plane rotating layer with inhomogeneously heated bottom when a jet stream arises near the heated horizontal surface, and, second, an inhomogeneously heated annulus with constant temperature gradient at the side walls. In the first case, the t
