Controlling Chimera Patterns in Networks: Interplay of Structure, Noise, and Delayoupling. In particular, we study two types of chimera states, amplitude chimeras and chimera death, under the influence of time delay and noise. We find that amplitude chimeras are long-living transients, whose lifetime can be controlled by varying the noise intensity and the value of time delay.
