Large Finite-Size Effects of Discrete Systems in Microcanonical Ensemble Monte Carlo Simulationscanonical and the microcanonical ensemble. The specific heat shows a difference of 16% for a 30x30 Ising model and 10% for a 60x60 Ising model system in zero magnetic field in 2-dimensions near the maximum in the specific heats.
