A Computerized Study of Golgi-Impregnated Axons in Rat Visual Cortex, neuronal structure from a variety of tissue preparations displayed under a light microscope, but is most suited to the measurement of fiber trees as they appear in rapid Golgi or Golgi-Cox preparations.

A Measuring System for Analyzing Neuronal Fiber Structure,erebal cortex is out of the question, we must ask what are the functionally significant parameters of neural structure. Thus the prejudices of the experimenter are unfortunately imprinted on the investigations at the outset, and we should be aware of some inevitable circularity in our approach.
