Big Computations with a 3-D Parallel Navier-Stokes Solver on Different Multiprocessors,.The computation of 3-D inviscid steady state flows are shown on a cluster of workstations (IBM RS/6000/550) and a massive parallel system (Intel Paragon XP/S)..The characteristics, perspectives and restrictions of the block implicit code and the used multiprocessors are investigated.

Turbulent combustion modeling using complex chemistry on SIMD architecture,ent combustion modeling very crude assumptions have been formulated to account for the chemical activity. Either, time scales related to chemistry are supposed to be small compared to the relevant time scale of the turbulent flow, or, very reduced and simplified chemical schemes are used.
