Chi-Bin Cheng,Hsu-Shih Shih,E. Stanley Leeions in collisions with other ions, and charge exchange between positively charged ions are considered at low and intermediate energies. For double ionization of He atoms by heavy ion impact, high energies of relative motion are also included. The theoretical methods are discussed from the viewpoint of general requirements of scattering theory.
