The Determination of Absorptive Properties of Atmospheric Aerosol Particles Using Photoacoustic SpecChopped light produces an acoustic signal in a closed cell when it is absorbed by a sample of material within this cell. This effect is used to develop a method for measuring the absorption coefficient of aerosol particles. The possibilities and limits of the method are discussed.

Measurements of Reduced Sulfur Gases in the Atmosphere few measurements of the gases..We have established a method for preconcentration and subsequent gas chromatographic and flame photometric analysis of reduced sulfur gases from the atmosphere. First measurements in environments of various degrees of pollution are reported. On a cruise across the Atl
