Bias voltage dependence of the temperature of hot n-Si inversion layer electrons in high magnetic fal (2D) acoustic phonon scattering and the U. dependence of the effective electron mass. The decrease of T. in the high U. range -U. > 4V is due to the enhanced surface roughness and surfon scattering.

Magnetotransport in GaInAs-InP heterojunctions and superlattices,*=4.6 are observed. The superlattices show an increase in effective mass with decreasing layer thickness, and are shown to be two dimensional u0 to 200 K. Evidence for long range Optical Phonon scattering is presented.
