Algorithmic Description of XCSFights between kernels, but also optimizes the kernel . to further improve prediction accuracy. The XCSF algorithm is a so called Learning Classifier System (LCS), where a Genetic Algorithm (GA) optimizes a population of rules. A rule consists of a kernel with particular location, shape, and size, and a local model for the corresponding subspace.
