The book will serve better theoretical understanding of drag, lift and how to apply them to the design of hypersonic vehicles, as well as data to size vehicles and supersonic combustion ramjet (SCRJ) systems...This book will be a useful reference for researchers and designers in hypersonic vehicles but also second or third-year graduate students..

https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-8350-9261-7d of greater realism of combustion and combustion-turbulence coupling models in RANS and LES is also discussed. It is concluded that more realistic simulations are feasible, among other things, by devoting efforts and resources to solving nonlinear set of FDE.
