Regularity analysis of functions and random processes using wavelets,ocesses, including fractional Brownian motion, but also processes with nonstationary increments. This decomposition simplifies the simulation of the process (its wavelet coefficients are independent, identically distributed Gaussiane), and it allows us to calculate its exact local and global modulus of continuity.

On the extension of the Heisenberg group to incorporate multiscale resolution,tains the Heisenberg and the affine as subgroups. This leads to various signal representations: by the Heisenberg-Gabor wavelets, multiscale wavelets, and by the new hybrid multiscale-Heisenberg wavelets.
