Lock-in Probability,his picture in mind, we define the lock-in probability as the probability of convergence to an asymptotically stable attractor, given that the iterate is in a neighbourhood thereof. Our aim here will be to get a lower bound on this probability and explore some of its consequences. Our treatment follows the approach of Borkar (2002, 2003).
