Photometric and Spectrophotometric Models in the NIRsed. One is a refined spectral synthesis of starbursts in the . band. Another model aims to predict synthetic spectra (continua and lines) and colors of starbursts and the Hubble Sequence from 220Å to 5μm.

The Milky Way in the Near-IR, First Results of DENISrn sky, with a 3. detection limit of 18, 16 and 14, in the I, J and .. bands respectively. The DENIS instrument has been in operation at the 1-meter telescope of the European Southern Observatory at La Silla in Chile, since September 1994, with the J and .. channels, and has already provided data on large areas of the sky.
