The Consequences of Y-autosome Translocation and the XO as the Normal Female of Certain Mammalian Spn does not handicap bearers of X-autosome translocation. This type persisted in certain species and produced the XY.Y./XX scheme of the sex-determining mechanism. In this chapter, two unusual sex-determining mechanisms which are produced as a result of Y-autosome translocation shall be discussed.
