The Relaxin Receptor,ction methods quite difficult. In contrast, insulin has low nonspecific binding, but shows specific binding up to 80% of the total radioactivity bound. The relaxin system gives 50% specific binding at best and usually shows around 30%, and that only after major efforts in tracer design, preparation and purification.
