Application of High Pressure Techniques in Mechanistic and Synthetic Studies of Organometallic Systofiles is discussed. The characteristic pressure dependence of these reactions create the possibility to selectively tune the reactivity of, and product distribution for such organometallic systems. The effects are in many cases so significant that moderate pressures (up to 100 MPa) are sufficient to induce certain synthetic processes.
