Calyampudi Radhakrishna Rao FRS (Born: 10 September 1920),sh-ruled India (present-day state of Karnataka). As C. R. Rao was the eighth child of his parents C. D. Naidu and A. Lakshmikanthamma, he was named ‘Radhakrishna’ after the Hindu deity Sri Krishna. C. D. Naidu was an inspector in the ‘Criminal Investigation Department’.

,Jyoti Das (neѐ Chaudhuri) (1937–2015),l education in Calcutta and passed Matriculation Examination in 1952 securing a first division. Then she joined the well-known Bethune College and completed her Intermediate Examination in Science (I.Sc.) in 1954 securing first division. She joined the Scottish Church College in Calcutta for pursuing her undergraduate studies.
