On the Effectiveness of Economic Experiments as a Method of Teaching Undergraduatescan show an advantage of the experimental method in the procedural domain and in the tests that have taken place at an earlier time during the semester. In the declarative domain and at a later stage in the semester the “lectures” group outperforms the experimental group. As a consequence we recommend a blended learning environment.

Learning at the Crossroads of Theory and Practice: An Overviewing course at a Dutch university. The project enjoyed high student attendance despite not being mandatory. Both the success rate of examinations and the average number of study points obtained in the first year were improved, compared to previous years.

Combining Formal and Non-formal Learning for Undergraduate Management Students Based in London from the last three cohorts are used in the annual redesign of the module. The chapter concludes with the eight issues that designers of similar modules need to consider and suggests some of the important factors for success.
