A Miniature Robot with Changeable Multiple Locomotion Modesng like a snake and biped walking, is presented. The study describes how such a non-wheeled mobile robot can possess different locomotion modes, and moreover, how the transition between them can be implemented. The feasibility and effectiveness of the different modes, as well as transition among them are illustrated with some simple experiments.

A Matching Algorithm for Featureless Sparse Point Cloud Registrationsformation matrix by singular value decomposition. The performance of the algorithm is evaluated with the actual data obtained from vision measuring system. The experiments show that the algorithm is of high performance and efficiency and can be applied to practical problems of point cloud registration.
