Reflections and Retrospectactical difficulties of measuring income distribution and, even more elusive, the difficulty of defining in any measurable way what we understand by ‘political structure’. A lesson to be drawn from the volume is the danger of any simplistic assertion of the relationships between economic growth, distribution and political forms.
