Photochemistry of Halogenated Molecules Adsorbed on Ag(111)The UV photodissociation of several halogen-containing molecules, adsorbed on Ag{111}, is described. Attention is focused on Cl.CO.gregarious 发表于 2025-3-27 02:44:02
Dissociative Desorption of CH3I by UV-Laser Radiation: Kinetic and Internal Energy of the Neutral FrShort wavelength laser radiation is used to initiate photodissociation of condensed molecules and to detect the emitted particles species-, energy- and state-selectively. A case study with condensed methyliodine shows that direct dissociative photodesorption can be identified. A comparison with the gas phase process reveals several differences.斗争 发表于 2025-3-27 06:53:47
Substrate Mediated Photodissociation of NO2/N2O4 Adsorbed on Pd(111)f the NO molecules released into the gas phase and determination of the yield as function of angle and polarization provide clear evidence that the dominant primary process consists in electronic excitation of the metallic substrate rather than in direct absorption by the adsorbate.外观 发表于 2025-3-27 11:42:01

Excitation Lifetimes and Excited-State Forces in Chemisorbed Moleculese. For NO. , consideration of the photoelectron spectrum, electronic structure, and excitation lifetimes allows us to assign the two dominant dissociation channels to specific one and two hole excitations. While the holes occupy non-bonding molecular orbitals (MOs), we find charge-transfer screening
