The table is not exhaustive; it omits a few countries (Burkine Faso, Dominican Republic) because very small and/or too unsettled, and South Korea because its presidentialism has only been a 1988–90 interregnum. Note, finally, that the table is strictly confined to ‘pure’ presidential systems.
