The Twists and Turns of DNA,aduate student had solved the structure of a short piece of DNA, 12 nucleotides long, revealing a complex inner structure to the double helix and an interesting interaction with the surrounding water. When I joined, the lab was exploring other pieces of DNA and also the interaction of DNA with drugs and proteins.
